Constructed from premium corrosion-resistant cast aluminum, this manual crank pump features an optimized 102 x 22 x 20 CM framework, perfectly sized to comfortably reach the depths of standard 15, 30, and 55-gallon fluid drums. Its rugged internal rotor mechanism provides exceptional durability when cycling heavy-use fuels and oils day in and day out. 

Unlike simple siphon bulbs that rely completely on gravity drop after a few initial pumps, a rotary drum pump utilizes an internal vane configuration driven by a hand crank. This forces a continuous, pressure-driven flow of fluid through the line, meaning you can easily pump liquids upward out of a low barrel onto a taller workbench or tank.

While aluminum is structurally strong, using standard manual rotary pumps with highly volatile liquids like gasoline requires extreme caution. Aluminum-on-aluminum friction can occasionally pose a minute spark risk if dry, and transferring gasoline requires specialized static-grounding components. Minimal assembly is required. The kit includes the main rotary pump head, the threaded barrel adapter, the curved discharge gooseneck spout, and segmented metal intake pipes. Simply thread the segmented inlet pipes together to match your specific barrel depth, screw the bung adapter into place, and attach the crank handle.

Because this pump handles industrial lubricants and fuels, maintenance is simple. Always make sure the fluid being pumped is clear of heavy grit by using an inlet filter mesh screen. If the pump sits completely idle for several months, we recommend pouring a few drops of clean motor oil directly into the top of the pump housing before your first crank to pre-lubricate the internal seals.
