A: Yes. Authentic Turkish coffee requires an ultra-fine "powder" grind (significantly finer than espresso or drip grinds). Coarser coffee grinds will not steep properly or form the signature velvety layer of foam on top.

A: No. This is an authentic brewing pot meant for raw, finely ground coffee beans that settle at the bottom of the cup. Using instant coffee granules may alter the liquid density, potentially disrupting the overflow sensor and resulting in poor foam. 

A: The machine is fully automated. Once the optimal temperature and maximum froth volume are reached, the device will stop heating automatically and emit a clear audio alert chime, indicating your coffee is ready to pour.

A: Only the inside and the upper plastic rim should be rinsed. The bottom base of the pot houses the electrical contact pins that interface with the power dock. Keep the bottom contact pins completely dry, and never submerge the pitcher or power base in water.
