Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: What are the exact measurements displayed on this ruler?
A: The ruler features a dual-sided design. One edge is calibrated in centimeters (0 to 30 cm) with a 1mm standard resolution, and the other edge measures in inches (0 to 12 inches) subdivided into standard fractional increments.
Q: Is the plastic flexible or rigid?
A: Model 6031 is constructed from sturdy, rigid plastic designed to sit completely flat for drawing straight lines. While it offers a very slight structural give to absorb impact, it is not a fully bendable silicone or twistable ruler.
Q: Does it have a hole for hanging or storage?
A: Yes, it features a standardized circular hole at one end, making it easy to hang on pegboards, locker hooks, or binder rings for convenient storage.
Q: Will the printed numbers scratch or fade off over time?
A: No. The graduation markings are printed using high-adhesion, wear-resistant ink formulated to withstand frequent finger friction and long-term use.
Q: Can this ruler be used with wet media like ink or paint pens?
A: Absolutely. It is waterproof and dustproof. However, for best results with fluid ink pens, draw lines swiftly or slightly elevate the edge to prevent wet ink from bleeding or wicking underneath the plastic.
