• How do I properly start the machine?
  1. Hook up your garden hose to the water inlet.
  2. Connect the high-pressure spray gun hose.
  3. Turn the water faucet completely ON before plugging it in.
  4. Squeeze the gun trigger to purge trapped air until water flows steadily.
  5. Plug the unit into a grounded outlet and flip the power switch to ON. 
• What is the Total Stop System (TSS)?
  • It is an automatic energy-saving feature. The motor runs only while you squeeze the spray gun trigger. Releasing the trigger immediately shuts off the motor to prevent pump overheating and extend machine life. 

Troubleshooting

• Why is my pressure washer pulsing or losing pressure?
  • This is usually caused by trapped air or restricted water flow. Check that your garden hose has no kinks. Clean out the water inlet filter mesh to remove debris. To bleed air out, turn the machine off, disconnect the spray nozzle, and squeeze the trigger for 1 to 2 minutes. 
• What should I do if the unit won't turn on at all?
  • First, inspect the power cord's built-in GFCI safety plug. Push the Reset button on the plug. Also, verify that your outdoor electrical outlet hasn't tripped a home circuit breaker.  
• Why is the detergent/soap not dispensing?
  • Most pressure washers require you to switch to a specific low-pressure soap nozzle (usually black) to pull detergent from the chemical tank. High-pressure nozzles block the siphoning action.

• Can I feed hot water into this unit?
  • No. The D1 series is strictly a cold-water pressure cleaner. Feeding hot water will permanently melt the internal seals of the axial cam pump. 
• How do I store the unit for the winter?
  • Disconnect all hoses and squeeze the trigger to drain all residual water from the internal pump. Store the unit inside a warm, dry area to keep freezing temperatures from cracking the plastic components or pump casing.
