Q: How do I calibrate the scale if the readings begin to drift?
A: Turn on the scale, press and hold the Mode key until the screen flashes "CAL", press it once more, and place a standard calibration weight (such as a 50g or 200g weight) on the center platform until the screen confirms completion. 
Q: Can I close the protective top lid while weighing an item?
A: No. The lid should remain fully swung back and open while checking weights. Closing the cover or letting it rub against the platform during operation will skew the pressure readings.
