What exactly does Vetsense Triclamec Ultra treat?
It treats a broad variety of internal and external parasites. This includes liver fluke (all 3 stages), lungworms, and major gastrointestinal roundworms like Barber's Pole, Small Brown Stomach, and Small Intestinal worms. It also controls sucking/biting lice and assists with cattle ticks and buffalo flies. 
How do I apply and dose this product?
Apply it topically using a standard pour-on applicator gun. Pour the solution in a continuous strip along the center of the backline, starting at the shoulder blades and ending at the tail head. The standard dose rate is 1 mL per 10 kg of body weight (e.g., 50 mL for a 500 kg animal). Always dose to the heaviest animal in the line. 
Are there any animals this product should not be used on?
Yes. This product is strictly contraindicated for calves under 16 weeks of age or under 50 kg in weight. It must not be used on dairy cattle producing milk for human consumption (or dry dairy cows intended to produce milk). Do not administer to horses, dogs, or goats. 
What are the required withholding periods?
  • Meat Withholding Period: 49 days before slaughter for human consumption.
  • Export Slaughter Interval (ESI): 140 days before slaughter for export markets.
  • Note: Calves born to or suckling from cows treated during pregnancy/lactation must also adhere to these 49-day meat and 140-day ESI restrictions.
Can I apply Triclamec Ultra if it looks like it might rain?
The formula is rainfast starting two hours after administration. However, you should avoid treating cattle if their hair or hide is already wet, or if heavy downpours are expected within those first two hours, as this can degrade its absorption and efficacy.
